Cannon Beach Spring Unveiling Arts Festival this weekend!
Jeff explaining the "Mother Color Theory" at last year's festival
It's that time of the year again - the Cannon Beach Spring Unveiling Arts Festival happens this weekend down at Cannon Beach!
If you haven't been to this event before, I highly recommend it. It's a great art event in Cannon Beach with all the galleries participating, lots and lots of fabulous artists, demonstrations, evening receptions and live music. I will be down for the whole weekend, exhibiting my work at the Northwest by Northwest Gallery and hanging around the gallery for discussions, artist demonstrations, and the gallery artist receptions. Here is Northwest by Northwest Gallery's exciting schedule and where you can find me:
Friday May 6th:
Georgia Gerber - new work unveiling (Georgia is an awesome sculptor, and one of my favorite artists. You know her work from the big pig sculpture in Pike Place market in Seattle)
Artist receptionist from 5pm -7pm - live music and great wine from Sineann winery
Saturday May 7th Unveilings:
Noon: Ann Fleming
1pm: Christopher Burkett
2pm: Jeff White (that's me! Be sure to come visit)
3pm: Hazel Schlesinger
4pm: Kara Krieger McGhee
5pm to 8pm: Artist reception - more live music and wine from Sineann
And if that's not enough, it looks like the weather is going to be perfect all weekend. Sounds like a great weekend for a beach trip - hope to see you there!
