Working on a New Pointillist Painting

I'm enjoying the beautiful Oregon coast today at the Northwest by Northwest Gallery in Cannon Beach. It's the Plein Air Festival this weekend and artists will be all over the city painting scenes and sharing their talents. After another big move and an injured knee, I unfortunately won't be making my usual hikes looking for the perfect painting site with the right light. But I will be camped outside in front of the Northwest by Northwest Gallery working on my once-a-year pointellist painting.

I started this one about a couple of weeks ago at my new studio. My goal is to complete it this weekend and leave it at the gallery.
