Behind The Scenes Look At My Yearly Pointillist Piece
Every year I work on at least one Pointillist piece which differs from some of my other work in the technique I use. This year, I was asked to create one for the Annual Stormy Weather Arts Festival in Canon Beach. I limit myself to only one of these pieces a year because of the amount of time they take. I usually spend about one to three months working on them because of the time needed in order for the paint to dry while I'm working. I will be presenting this piece, as well as giving a lecture on Color Theory, this weekend at the festival.
Take a look at a short clip created by my son that gives a closer look into my process as I'm working in the studio. Enjoy!
